A reflection from Sentosa
Sometimes you wish Singapore stood still to give you the chance to reflect and enjoy moments which make your life worth living:

(yes. I took that photo from my iPhone)

Chinese new year
It's funny how many interesting people you can meet while having a nice long walk at East Coast Park. People actually getting drunk, making merry, and well, some just totally chilling out. So many family traditions happen on Chinese New Year that it's amazing - whether you're Chinese, Indian, Malay or otherwise.

CNY's a time for families, or what's left of a family to get together to remember the most important thing: at the end of the day, blood is thicker than water. I have my own traditions too. I believe in overnighting for the sake of my parents. Chinese believe if the children overnight to past midnight, he parents will live longer. I believe it's a time for me to remember what I have and have not. To appreciate what and how I have. Valentines day just made me reflect doubly hard then.

Anyways, a good start to the Chinese new year. Here's a big "cheers" to everyone reading, wishing you all the best for you and your family!

Remember.. If The Als comes to visit, please give bigger hong baos! Thanks!

Remembering how bored I can be
I went through my miscellaneous folder the other day which houses my past and more importantly future blog material which I can potentially write about. I was planning to write about how bored I was at Zouk on wednesday due to.. well, you'll find out. But also, the stuff inside got me thinking of how bored I can be sometimes and what I do when I really have too much time on my hands:

Oh and by the way, how can I leave Ari out of another blog entry? Especially with such an EPIC moment:

Hmm by the way, Mambo on wed wasn't as fantastic with the DJ totally spoiling the party one time too many! It was a sad day for mambo fans as Mambo King walked out at 2am, just 2 hours after arriving. Not done yet, the DJ was horrible for the night as he managed to totally kill off the high of the dance floor with a Backstreet Boys song. SO many classic "must-have" mambo songs not played, horrible filler songs, "hips don't lie"??? Ah well, cheers to better days at Mambo. At least the cute bartender chick was chatty heheh

The mambo crew

The Als is worth   $24.80   today!

Today's Song: David Guetta & Akon - Sexy Bitch

MRT Watch: People seem to step on my toes (literally) more often than not this week. I should get spiked shoes...

Confucius says: Grasshopper, Mambo is like water. YOU NEED IT TO LIVE. =P

In totally unrelated news: My blazer hunt that lasted 3 months has finally come to an end!!!
