Mambo @ Zouk = Happiness!! (Or drunkage)
Well well. Having the good idea of Wednesdays and Thursdays off with no school really opens alot of doors. (A lot of mambo doors heheh). Having gatherings with the old gang on mambo nights were especially fun, no matter the number, 2 or 20. Hey! It's mambo after all. If you're not there for the music and the dancing (and maybe sometimes girls, let's be honest) then what are you there for? Unfortunately I don't enjoy the Phuture styled GGG "Guys Grind Girls" type of clubbing. Well, I'm not there for that reason.

Then again, the big 1 for 1 promo till midnight @ zouk is ALWAYS welcome. LOL

So anyways, The Als' Mega Mambo Marathon lasted till 4am when Zouk closed last night..uh.. this morning I mean. It made more sense to wait out another 2 or so hours until the trains started at some obscure McDonalds in the city rather than cabbing home like some idiot. Not a bad night indeed! Considering we danced from 12 to 4am, and spent close to nothing on drinks! (Complementary drink coupons are a lifesaver) Total damage? $30ish for a night well spent. I should do this more often!

Hugeeeeee line of cabs outside Zouk as far as the eye can see at 4am

MRT - 6am. It's amazing that it's CROWDED. Holy crap. How many people actually go to work THIS early??? Note the electronic signboard at the top of the MRT hasn't started working yet!

The Als is worth   $25.00   today! (Entrance fee cause Jo's not online now :(  )

Today's Song: ALL THE SONGS FROM ZOUK'S MAMBO JAMBO ALBUM YESSSS

Apart from the usual TOTALLY UNRELATED NEWS and such... I'm gonna be adding how much I'm worth today according to the utterly random, all knowing, all powerful Mojo - Jolyn Mo.

Let today be the first of many:

The New Year brings forth new challenges!
Welcome the new 2010!

First off the bat, would absolutely love to wish everyone a brand spanking new and fruitful 2010 ahead!

Highlights of 2010 would include:
  • The Als completing my degree from SIM-UB in July
  • The Als entering the workforce as a professional (woohoo MONEY)
  • The Als going to Bangkok with the crew, FINALLY, for the longest time since the Red vs Blue riot started..
  • The Als going to Genting (next week) with the crew, our maiden trip together mwahaaha
Well then, it's looking like an interesting year ahead for yours truly. Heheh.

Also, as promised, pictures from the M'sia trip with the boys:

First day's lunch was a feast at Tony Roma's

The very, VERY, nice 5 star hotel which we were bumped to for no extra chargee..

Malaysia is infested with doughnut joints. (Thankfully!) Krispy Kreme doughnuts?? Holy shit! Best doughnuts in the WORLD!

Hmmm.. Didn't know DD had a restaurant there....

Cu Cha restaurant. AWESOME.

Ba Kut Teh, Malaysian style.. complete with pig intestines and tau pok

Yuan Yang  Hor Fun, Malaysian style which OWNS the SG one.
SG uses bee hoon. M'sia uses deep fried bee hoon. Awesome!

And finally, my true love: Fried radish cake. I have to have this the next time I go to KL. Holy shit good!

Well, having been there done that, just last week I went to Marina Barrage with the crew, for a kickback and well, just a simple picnic. Turns out that Jolyn suggested we go to the awesome Singapore Museum for a totally free entry (for students only) Egyptian exhibition. Damn cool!

Picture quality due to overcast cloudy skies AND a sad, sad phone.

Awesome Egyptian stuff. Interesting!

Exhibition was about the Egyptians' quest for immortality

The Ankh, representing life.

Today's Song: Celebration - Kool and the Gang

MRT Watch: Packed. Packed, packed, packed.

Confucius says: Happy new year Grasshoppers!

In totally unrelated news: Portsmouth FC are geared for their 3rd takeover of the SEASON. *Cue laughter*
